INON Shoe Base 1/4-20UNC

Base adapters to make simple yet compact strobe / light / action camera etc. installation on the Accessory Shoe (Cold Shoe) of an underwater housing etc. These improved Shoe Bases provide more secure installation on an accessory shoe.

A Shoe Base equipped with 1/4-20UNC male screw on its head adapter. The built-in ball head supports wide movable range (360-degree rotatable and 180-degree back and forth) yet with its compact body.

The Shoe Base 1/4-20UNC can be directly screwed on a conventional digital camera or underwater housing equipped with 1/4-20UNC female screw hole at the bottom. An action camera or compact digital camera can be installed on an accessory shoe of an underwater housing to shoot/film simultaneously.

The INON Single Light Holder LE for Tripod / Single Light Holder LF for Tripod enables to combine INON LE / LF series LED flashlight with this Shoe Base.

The Shoe Base 1/4-20UNC is designed to separate upper Head Adapter and lower Shoe Base Adapter to use the Head Adapter standalone as a tripod head with 1/4 inch screw on a tripod etc.

Reliable fixing mechanism
A large fixing dial helps easy installation and removal of the product. Built-in hook plate prevents accidental removal of the product. The rubber sheet on the back of the hook plate further enhances secure installation without rattle

Head adapter on a tripod
These Shoe Bases are designed to separate upper "Head Adapter" and lower "Shoe Base Adapter". All "Head Adapter" has 1/4 tripod screw hole on its bottom to attach on a tripod etc.
All "Head Adapters" are available separately while "Shoe Base Adapter" is identical among two Shoe Bases to create different combination only with an optional other type "Head Adapter".

Flexible positioning
The "Shoe Base 1/4-20UNC" and "Shoe Base M6" is equipped with a ball head. These two Shoe Bases have a "Locking Wingnut" on the side. Loosening the Locking Wingnut enables free 360-degree rotatable and 180-degree back and forth movement for flexible positioning while fixing the Locking Wingnut firmly fixed the position you select.

Move back and forth & Rotate 360°
The combined Z Joint or light holder can move back and forth to help aiming of combined lighting device to a subject at different distance. Its base part can rotate 360º. You can adjust combined strobe aiming not only up-and-down but also sideways.
