The INON UCL-G55 unprecedented high-magnification close-up lens with packaged useful Focus Stick enables you to easily enjoy blur-free macro photography.
Highest Magnification Close-up Lens
The UCL-G55 SD offers the highest magnification among the UCL-G series close-up lenses. The lens provides 4x magnification (scale ratio) compared to the UCL-G165II SD . The lens is specially designed for shooting tiny critters, enabling ultra-macro photography with GoPro cameras.
*Depth of field gets shallower with higher magnification due to the nature of close-up lenses. *The UCL-G55 SD provides ultra-high magnification, so using a tripod is recommended to prevent handshake.
Change FOV Setting for Further Magnification
The distance between two sticks represents a shooting range of the UCL-G100 SD when GoPro® is set to "WIDE". GoPro has several field of view settings, and with "Linear" or other narrower angle of view, it is possible to shoot at an even higher magnification. Shooting at a high resolution such as 4K with "1.4x" zoom can enlarge the subject even more with relatively less image quality degradation.
Blur-free Focus Stick (PAT.P)
The distance between two sticks represents a shooting range of the UCL-G100 SD when GoPro® is set to "WIDE". Focus Stick tip represents minimum focusing distance and far end of the depth of field is 8.2cm/3.2in from the tip.
It is easy to take sharp and crispy high magnification close-up video by referring to the Focus Stick and checking the composition on the rear monitor.
The Focus Stick rotates 360 ° and has clicks every 90 °, so it can be instantly flipped up when not in use. Vertical installation is also possible. The Focus Stick body is attached to the lens with retaining screw ring and can be separated from the lens when not necessary.
Visually indicates the distance to focus, and can easily fold not to limit camera placement.

The UCL-G55 SD is designed only for underwater use. Using on land creates vignetting.
When using for GoPro
* Set the camera's field of view (FOV)/Digital Lenses to [Wide] for quality-oriented, or [Linear] for magnification-oriented photography.
* When using with HERO11 Black and HERO12 Black, shoot in 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio as vignetting will occur in 8:7 or [HyperView™] mode which compresses footage in 16:9 aspect ratio by using the full 8:7 sensor.
* [SuperView™] mode is not recommended. The SuperView™ mode stretches both ends of the image inside the camera to fit into a 16:9 aspect ratio from originally obtained 4:3 aspect ratio image by the camera sensor. Since the edges of the frame are stretched horizontally, using an attachment lens further stretches the edges of the frame, resulting in an unnatural image.
* Set the camera's image stabilization (HyperSmooth) to [Standard], [High], or [On]. Setting to [Off] will cause vignetting in image corners, and [Boost] will crop the image significantly.
* The FOV/Digital Lenses setting [Wide] in Photo mode causes vignetting in image corners.
